Bids Evaluation Comittee
FUNCTIONS
In accordance with Rule 11 (2), the BEC shall;
a. receive the bid opening notification and the record regarding bids, quotations or proposals
from the Procurement Cell, as provided in Rule 10(3)(j);
b. open and evaluate the bids, quotations or proposals fairly, impartially and in accordance
with the evaluation criteria described in the bidding documents;
c. prepare the bid evaluation report, including recommendations for award of contract, and
submit it to the Procurement Cell; and
d. respond to queries raised by the Procurement Cell, the Third-Party Validation Committee
or the Head of the Procuring Agency.
